Zjistíte, bez čeho se lektor jazyků v online prostředí neobejde – základní i pokročilé funkce nejčastěji využívaných výukových platforem MS Teams a Zoom jako sdílení zvuku, obrazovky a rozdělování studentů do skupin; naučíte se pár fíglů pro práci s videem a vytváření výukových materiálů a seznámíte se s multifunkčními výukovými aplikacemi Kahoot!, Wordwall apod., díky nimž bude vaše online výuka nejen efektní, ale i efektivní.
Dozvíte se, jak vám online prostředí pomůže vést lekci ve vyučovaném jazyce, jak zadávat jasné instrukce a jak ověřit jejich porozumění. Osvojíte si fráze často používané v online třídě. Dále uvidíte, jak pracovat s online tabulí, jak být v online lekci názorní a jak dát studentům maximální vizuální oporu.
Seznámíte se s plejádou nástrojů, které vám pomohou efektivně vést lekci a optimalizovat poměr mluvení lektora a studentů (TTT x STT). Naučíte se zvolit vhodné interakce a zajistit takové tempo, aby studenti zůstávali aktivní po celou dobu lekce a získáte tipy jak na tichou práci.
Naučíte se sebevědomě řídit skupinové i individuální online lekce. Zjistíte, jak efektivně využívat skupinové místnosti (Breakout Rooms), které jsou základním nástrojem pro zvládnutí větších skupin studentů. Dozvíte se, jak vhodně střídat interakční vzorce při různých aktivitách, abyste udrželi dynamiku lekce. Získáte i praktické tipy, jak skupinové aktivity uzpůsobit individuální výuce a jak se v takových kurzech vyhnout stereotypu a předvídatelnosti.

The pilot OTS video presentation introduces the essentials of effective online classroom management – basic as well as more advanced features of the most frequently used teaching platforms MS Teams and Zoom: sound sharing, screen sharing, assigning students to breakout rooms, to name just a few. You will learn a few useful tricks for creating handouts and using offline videos in online lessons. And, the icing on the cake – you will get familiar with some multifunctional teaching apps like Kahoot! and Wordwall, which can make you an online teaching star!
The second OTS video presentation demonstrates how online tools can help you to be understood even when your students’ level is low and how to give and check instructions in an online lesson. It will help you master some of the classroom language phrases in a language you are not a teacher of to get into your students’ shoes. The video presentation also provides tips on working with the online whiteboard, on being demonstrative and, in general on providing maximum visual support to your students.
The third OTS video presentation will help you organize work in an online lesson effectively, optimize the Teacher Talking Time vs Student Talking Time ratio, choose the right interaction patterns, and ensure such pace and dynamics which will help your students to be active throughout the whole lesson. You will learn about some online tools facilitating that, including the main features of Breakout Rooms.
The fourth OTS video presentation will show you how to lead both group and one-to-one lessons with confidence. You will find out how to work effectively in Breakout Rooms, which is a basic tool for managing large groups of students. You’ll learn to use different interaction patterns in various types of activities to keep your lessons dynamic and interesting. You will also discover practical ways of adjusting group activities to one-to-one and small-group courses.
The fifth OTS video presentation will help you improve the efficiency of online error correction and thus provide constructive feedback to students, leading to higher motivation and better results. In addition to identifying different types of errors and the online tools to correct them, you will get familiar with other applications to activate students and enhance your lessons.
